KORTRIJK (BEL, Jul 8): Norway´s super talent 16 years old Jakob Ingebrigtsen won here at the meet steeple in 8:26.81 what is new European U20 record. Jamaican Michael Campbell won the 100 m in 10.20 (+3.2) ahead of South African Lebakeng Sesele 10.20 who won the 200 m in 20.27 (-0.3) PB with Campbell second 20.47. In good women 5000 m Kenyan Lilian Rengeruk won in 14:44.27 ahead of Lewetegn Sintyaehu from Ethiopia 14:53.44. Ugandan Esther Chebet topped the 1500 m in 4:06.34 with US Shannon Osika second 4:06.88. Close 800 m finish as Gena Lofstrand of South Africa in 2:02.05 beat Ugandan Winnie Nanyondo 2:02.06. Another South African win, even a double for Justine Palframan 22.84 (+1.7) and 52.47 in 200/400 m. Australian talent Joseph Deng won the 800 m in 1:46.51, Djibouti´s Mohamed Ismail 1500 m in 3:36.98 and Jamaican O´Dayne Richards shot put 20.46.
