LOS ANGELES (USA): The management company of US sprinter Christian Coleman (19.85 200m this season) announced that he will run only in the 100m at the World Champs. Coleman, who tops this year’s world list at 100m with 9.82, was second in both events at the US Trials. His place in the 200m will be taken by fourth placed Kyree King, who has run 20.27 this year. From Athletics International.
RunBlogRun opines: Smart move by Christian Coleman. The 100 meters will be tough, and Christian Colemen has the speed and tools to be in the medal hunt in London in August. We wish him well.
