Willis, Gebremeskel, A. Wilson
BOSTON (USA): Olympic medallists Nick Willis and Dejen Gebremeskel and world indoor silver medallist Ajee Wilson are all confirmed for the Adidas Boost Boston Games distance festival in Somerville on 2 June, informs organisers. Willis will face Kenya’s Collins Cheboi and 19-year-old Drew Hunter in the 1500m while Wilson faces in-form Charlene Lipsey and former European champion Lynsey Sharp in the 800m. In the 5000m, Gebremeskel faces Ethiopian teammate Muktar Edris and Kenyans Thomas Longosiwa and Edwin Soi while Donavan Brazier is confirmed for the 800m. Olympic champions Wayde van Niekerk, Shaunae Miller-Uibo, Tori Bowie and Jeff Henderson have already been announced for the Adidas Boost Boston Games “street meet” on 4 June.
