Two of the finest pole vaulters in the world, Ekaterina Stefanidi, 2016 Olympic gold medalist and Sandi Morris, 2016 Olympic silver medalist, spoke to the media on Thursday, May 5, 2017. Both athletes love their events, are relaxed with the media and responded to questions that were not the normal drivel.

Stefanidi and Morris have both faced challenges in their athletic careers, and have risen above those tough times, to soar above the competition. Their pole vault battle on Friday night in Doha will be one to enjoy and behold. Special thanks to Ekaterina and Sandi for their honesty and love of their event.
