Mo Farah is the finest long distance racer on the planet. That is not hyperbole, dear readers, that is fact. And Mo is competitive. If you do not believe that, google the British TV game shows and watch his resolve.
In 2011, I recall his first 10,000 meters at the PreClassic. In the race, Mo Farah stayed off the pace, and over the last 1000 meters he drew his victims close and then, destroyed them in a long rush to the finish line.

In 2017, Mo Farah has won his last five 10,000m Championships and six 5,000 meter championships. He has the muscle memory and tactical experiences to have confidence in nearly every situation.
At the Oxy HP, Mo Farah battled Chris O’Hare and Matthew Centrowitz, taking second to Centrowitz. When I poke to his today, Mo told me he was not happy losing to Centro, his training partner. That’s Mo. He does not like to settle for second. That is not how he wants to go out of track racing.
Here is the interview Mo gave me in Eugene. (Thanks, Mo!)
