LONDON (GBR): Former European 10,000m champion Jo Pavey is confirmed for the Highgate Harriers Night of the 10,000m on 20 May, informs Athletics Weekly. Pavey dropped out of the London Marathon last month with cramp but hopes to make the British team for the World Championships in London on the track. Pavey will face fellow Rio Olympians Jessica Martin, Beth Potter and Sonia Samuels while the leading international entrant is Portugal’s Jessica Augusto. Top names in the men’s race include Andy Vernon and Ross Millington who both ran the 10,000m in Rio last summer.
