PORTLAND (JAM): Number of athletes, including Olympic and World sprint champion Usain Bolt, turned up at the Hagley Park Road SDA Church for Germaine Mason’s memorial service, then took the journey to Grange Hill, Long Road, Portland, where the interment took place. Other close friends who attended the funeral were former Reggae Boy Ricardo Gardner, Gregory Messam, Ian Goodison and Olympians Asafa Powell, Michael Frater, Jason Morgan, Raymond Brown and Shericka Jackson. Good friends Gardner, Goodison and Bolt were among the pall-beareers. From Jamaica Observer.
