AIX-LES-BAINS (FRA): Olympic medalist Christophe Lemaitre is expected to return to competition on 21 May for the finals of the French Interclubs according to his coach Pierre Carraz, informs L’Equipe. Lemaitre is planning to contest the B race of the 200m “to not take any risks.” Lemaitre will also compete over 100m in Montreuil on 1 June and in the Rome Diamond League on 8 June.
RunBlogRun opines: The 2016 Olympic bronze medalist over 200 meters is very tough. Pierre Carraz, the coach of Lemaitre is old school and knows how to bring his athlete along to world class racing shape.
