The women’s 800 meters in Doha showed just how amazing Caster Semenya has become. Staying behind, Caster ran a 28 second last 200 meters, totally under control, to win in 1:56.51. A strong opener for the 2017 season, but also, a portend of things to come.
Caster Semenya can win the 800 meters from the front, back or, in between. Her ability to turn on the speed is amazing and puts her ahead of her peers. It is my belief that she could run 1:52.5 this season.
Caster Semenya clocking in 1: 56:61 taking first place in 800m. 🇿🇦ðŸƒðŸ¿â€â™€ï¸#DohaDL
