RunBlogRun opines: In the past decade, the Payton Jordan has become the meet where distance runners run their qualifiers. The level of competition, and the quality of competition continues to grow. A meet had started in Herzogenaurach, by adidas, last year, to provide Central European runners to have a chance to hit qualifying standards, but has not been renewed. It is a huge amount of logistics to devleop a meeting like the Payton Jordan, and we thank and salute the staff at Stanford to continuing to support this amazing event.
