TORRANCE (USA, Apr 15): Clayton Murphy and his World leading 1:43.60 in the 800 m highlighted the final day of Mt. SAC Relays. Behind him Eliud Rutto 1:45.70 and Eric Sowinski 1:45.95. World lead also in women 800 m 1:59.10 by Raevyn Rogers, for her also PB and colllege record. Laura Roesler second 1:59.54 ahead of Chanelle Price 2:00.38 and Chrishuna Williams 2:00.41. Ronnie Baker confirmed his indoor shape with life-time best 9.99 (+0.1) 100 m win over Briton Chijindu Ujah 10.10 and Mike Rodgers 10.11. In women sprints top shape by Deajah Stevens 11.00 PB (+0.7) and 22.31 (-0.6) wins. In the 100 m second Arianna Washington 11.06 and third Kortnei Johnson 11.09 PB ahead of Mikiah Brisco 11.14 PB. Jamaican vet Schillonie Calvert won the other race 11.15 (-0.8). In the 200 m second Deanna Hill 22.59 PB beating Gabrielle Thomas 22.64. Quincy Hall won the 400 m in 45.12 personal best and World record holder Aries Merritt hurdles 13.51 (-1.7), women 400 m hurdles Kori Carter 55.79 beat Norway´s record holder Amalie Iuel 56.14. Another collegiate record in women 4×100 m for Oregon 42.12 (also a WL) just edging LSU 42.14. LSU won men 4x100m 38.57 and Oregon women 4×400 m 3:27.98. Some highlights also in technical events. World leading 194 for Vashti Cunningham and Liz Patterson in high jump, Egyptian Mostafa Hassan 21.31 national record in shot put, women winner Jeneva Stevens 18.19. Canadian Mike Mason cleared 230 in high jump, Seito Yamamoto from Japan 570 in the pole vault, Jarvis Gotch 813 (+1.3) in long jump, Donald Scott 17.01 (+1.8) in triple. Discus win for Andrew Evans 64.46. Pole vault sensation Armand Duplantis this time won the HS section with 556 clearance.
