Desi Linden was 18th in the 2007 Boston Marathon. Four years later, she ran a masterful race in Boston, missing the win by two seconds. Her 2:22:38 that day is still her PB. Six years later, Desi Linden is in fine shape, and very confident. The important notion to understand about Desi Linden is that savors a good fight. Linden is prepared to battle to the very last steps and looks forward to that. Her long term training, with the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project, has created this immense muscle memory.

Tomorrow, Monday, April 17, 2017, that muscle memory and focus will be put to the test. We wish Desi Linden the very best and believe that she is quit capable of winning the 2017 Boston Marathon.
This interview was done on Saturday, April 15, at the Sam Adams Brewery, with special thanks to Brooks Running’s Derek Lactoen.
