Schippers for Hengelo
HENGELO (NED): World 200m champion Dafne Schippers has said one of her targets this summer is to break her 100m lifetime best of 10.81, informs ad.nl. “It feels strange that I did not have an indoor season but I’m ready to start racing again. I hope to improve my personal best in the 100m (10.81) in 2017 and preferably go below 10.8. You have to aim high,” she said. Schippers will compete in the 100m on home soil at the 36th FBK Games in Hengelo on 11 June (IAAF World Challenge). She is currently training in USA and plans to compete at IAAF World Relays in Bahamas.
