In a race with fast winds, heat and humidty, both the men’s and women’s races, were absolutely awesome. When is the last time you saw a guy (Galen Rupp) run a 4:48 mile an loose 21 seconds on the winner (Geoffrey Kirui)? The US had second (Galen Rupp), fourth (Shadrack Biwott), sixth, (Abdi Abdirhaman), ninth (Luke Puskedra) and tenth (Jared Ward). The last time there were more American men in the top then than Kenyan or Ethiopian men? You had to go back to 1985, the last year that Boston was an amateur race!
Here’s the presser from the wonders of Larry Eder’s Iphone. Sorry for the moving arm, but some provocative comments!
