OSTRAVA (CZE): The Czech Indoor Gala on Tuesday in Ostrava (EA Indoor Permit) will offer several highlights. Fast 300 m between home star and double World indoor champion Pavel Maslak and Olympic finalist Bralon Taplin of Grenada. In men shot put top 3 from current World list will compete David Storl against home Tomas Stanek and Poland´s Konrad Bukowiecki. Fastest 40+ sprinter Kim Collins is facing Jamaican Everton Clarke in the 60 m, another Jamaican Gayon Evans is the women 60 m favorite, the same for Jasmin Stowers in women 60 m hurdles. Top duel in 400 m between the hurdlers, World champion Zuzana Hejnova against European champion Sara Petersen and another Czech star Denisa Rosolova. Jan Kudlicka the Olympic fourth placer is the main name in men pole vault and World U20 champion Michaela Hruba in women high jump. Ethiopian Axumawit Embaye is expected to lead the women 1500 m field for a sub 4:07 time and on the men side Dawit Wolde from Ethiopia will fight against Moroccan Fouad El Kaam and Hungarian Tamas Kazi for a sub 3:40. The meet is sold out and will be broadcast live by Czech Television.
