NEW YORK (USA): After breaking the world indoor U20 pole vault record at the Millrose Games in New York with a 5.75m clearance, Armand Duplantis said he is aiming to surpass his father’s lifetime best this season, informs the Expressen. “I’ve said that I’ll beat dad’s personal of 5.80m this year. When I said it, it was not as real as it is now,” he said. His father Greg cleared 5.80m back in 1993.
