BOSTON (USA): The start-lists have been released for the first leg of the IAAF World Indoor Tour in Boston on Saturday. Highlights of the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix include a Jenn Suhr vs. Ekaterini Stefanidi head-to-head in the pole vault along with two excellent 3000m races. Olympic 5000m silver medallist Paul Chelimo will face former Olympic 5000m silver medallist Dejen Gebremeskel, Andrew Butchart and Olympic 800m bronze medallist Clayton Murphy in the men’s race while in-form Hellen Obiri faces Sifan Hassan and Shannon Rowbury in the women’s race. More top middle distance action: Marina Arzamasava vs. Lysney Sharp in the women’s 800m along with Yulia Stepanova competing as a neutral competitor while Olympic 1500m champion Matt Centrowitz goes head-to-head with Hagos Gebrhiwet in the mile. Olympic long jump champion Jeff Henderson and English Gardner headline the 60m line-ups, youngsters Candace Hill (first indoor pro meet for her) and Noah Lyles compete over 300m while Donovan Brazier and Duane Solomon go in the 600m. European champion Patricia Mamona starts as the favourite in the triple jump, former world champion Donald Thomas goes in the high jump while Fabrice Lapierre is the top name in the long jump.
