TIGNES (FRA): World pole vault record-holder Renaud Lavillenie has canceled his first two scheduled competitions of the indoor season due to a left thigh injury, informs L’Equipe. Lavillenie has scratched from his opener in Tignes on Friday and Merzig on 14 January. He said on his social media page he picked up the small injury while training in Reunion.
