Pavey for London Marathon
LONDON (GBR): Former European 10,000m champion Jo Pavey has been added to the elite women’s field for the Virgin Money London Marathon on 23 April, informs organisers. Pavey hasn’t contested a marathon since 2011 when she clocked 2:28:24 in London and 2:28:42 in New York. Her goal is to claim a place on the team for the World Championships in London. Fellow Olympians Scott Overall and Tsegai Tewelde have been added to the elite men’s field.
