BIRMINGHAM (GBR): Birmingham has expressed an interest in the staging of the 2026 Commonwealth Games and the Origin Sport Group are to conduct a feasibility study into Birmingham’s suitability to host the event, informs insidethegames.biz.
RunBlogRun opines: We love Birmingham! One of the most diverse communities in Great Britain, with fine outdoor art, strong athletic facilities, great shopping and food, and the most canals outside of Venice, Italy (serious!). And after my visit to the CG in 2014 in Glasgow, I will be going from now on!
