RunBlogRun opines: The Zatopek Classic is an iconic event. It is on my bucket list (as well as visiting friends in Australia, including the great writer, Brian Lenton). The 10,000 meter race is where many fine distance runners have run fine races, from Rob de Castella and Steve Moneghetti to Bobby Curtis. Good luck to Mr. Tiernan, who ran the NCAA cross country will all of his heart and soul and made many proud.
