Silva plans to defend her title
HAVANA (CUB): Prensa Latina informs that Cuban world champion Yarisley Silva sets her eye on the retention of her pole vault crown at the next world championship in London in 2017. “I continue with aspirations to defend my world title and I will fight with eagerness to maintain it,” told the portentous Caribbean athlete to Prensa Latina in Havana. She is not planning to jump indoors and is expected back to training in December.
