Gwen Jorgensen is the Olympic champion at the Triathlon. This was our first interview with Gwen. The interview was done the day after the marathon, as part of the ASICS Extra Mile program. Extra mile is about supporting Girls on the Run. Gwen Jorgensen was sore after her 14th place in the NYC Marathon in 2:41. In this interview, we discuss how Gwen became involved in the Triathlon, how the US Tri Federation encouraged Gwen to compete and train for the Olympics and her experience in New York. Gwen Jorgensen is an amazing athlete, and one could tell that she is considering how she runs that marathon better next time. That is how a champion relates to challenges. @Runblogrun thanks Gwen Jorgensen for her time and ASICS for their support in scheduling the interview.
