Updated November 10, 2016. Diego Estrada is one of the new generation of talented young Americans who is moving up to the marathon. On October 9, at the Bank of Chicago Marathon, Diego took eighth, was first American and finished the race. He had not fnished his first marathon and he fell in Chicago, twisting an ankle. His quick decision to get up and finish gave him first American and a 2:13 Marathon finish. This interview was done on November 5 in New York City, at the @extra mile event, where ASICS, RunKeeper and Girls on the Run work together to provide shoes for Girls on the Run members, one pair for each extra mile run on RunKeeper application.
