Frederico Rosa and Jemima Sumgong
NAIROBI (KEN): Good news for Italian agent Federico Rosa. Prosecutors in Kenya withdrew charges against him. Agencies are informing that he had been given back his passport by a court in Nairobi and was free to go. “There is no witnesses. There is nothing against me. There is no case. This is one of the best days of my life,” Rosa told The Associated Press in a phone interview.
RunBlogRun Opines: Frederico Rosa is an important manager and supporter of Kenyan Athletics. He was accused of many things, and spent time in a Kenyan jail, always believing in his innocence. Truth is, Rosa has gone out of his way to let this go to courts so he could defend himself. His athletes supported him as well as his friends. We wish him well.
