RANCHO CUCAMONGA (USA): Brenda Martinez has suggested she will focus on the 1500m from 2018 onwards, informs the Runner’s Tribe. “I’ve got some PBs I want to improve [next year] like going under 1:57.5 for the 800m. On that note, this could be my last year at the 800m and we most likely will decide to move up in distance to the 1500m. I’ve been knocking on the door at going sub-four minutes in the 1500m and hope to get there soon as well,” she said. Martinez is aiming to make the American 800m team for the World Championships in London next year.
