NEW YORK (USA): Molly Huddle’s coach Ray Treacy is confident she can run close to the 2:20-mark for the marathon, informs LetsRun. “I think that anyone that can run low 30 minutes for 10k should be looking at low 2:20 [for the marathon]. I’d be very disappointed if she couldn’t run in that range in the marathon especially after seeing how she handled the marathon today – that’s not a worry anymore. We will be looking to go close to 2:20 in the next couple of races,” he said. Huddle will turn her focus back to the track next season and will look to make the 10,000m team for the World Championships in London.
