Luke Puskedra was a fine athlete at the University of Oregon. His first marathon was not up to his expecations. Luke told RBR that he prepared way too hard. So, Luke stopped running. Then, he started up again, slowly. His second marathon was a 2:15:27, after only a few months of training. In the fall of 2015, Luke ran 2:10:24 for fifth place in the Bank of America Chicago. Last January 2016, Luke ran 1:01:29, one month later. Luke ran 2:14:12 for fourth in the U.S. Olympic Trials. ” I would have preferred 15th, 30th, not fourth.” This interview was done with Luke, discussing his prospects for the 2016 Chicago Marathon by RunBlogRun on October 7, 2016.
