Mark Korir won the Marathon de Paris in 2015, in 2:05:49. He also ran 1:00:52 at the demi-Maraton de Paris in 2015. In 2016, Mark Korir has run 1:04:40 in the Messa Half Marathon. ” I am in better fitness than I was in Paris.” noted Mark Korir, whose English is fine, but speaks quite modestly.
Mark Korir spoke about running a marathon in the 2:04 region. 2:04 is a great time in Mainvoa Frankfurt. So, we will have to wait a few hours to see how Mark Korir fares on the roads of Frankfurt.
Mark Korir was interviewed by Andy Edwards of Race Results Service. Along with Joerg Wenig, Andy Edwards provides interviews, videos and content for RunBlogRun and the RunningNetwork, for global marathons across our planet.
