Bobby Curtis is the top American male runner at the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon. Competing in his fifth marathon, Bobby is focused, relaxed and prepared. After a rough 2016, where he battled heat, humidity and exhaustion in his fourth marathon, the U.S. Olympic Marathon trials in Feburary, Bobby Curtis finished tenth in the Trials 10,000 meters in July.

His fifth marathon is about having a good experience and getting a strong time. With pacers at 65 minutes, Bobby Curtis should be in his happy place at halfway. If he feels good, this is the course to break 2 hours, ten minutes and become the 17th American man under 2:10:00.
We wish Bobby Curtis great luck later this morning. This interview was done with Bobby Curtis, by Larry Eder, for RunBlogRun. We thank Bobby Curtis for his patience and my brother, Brian Eder, for producing the audio through SoundCloud.
