Mainly Yohan Blake in the 100 m, Tori Bowie in the 100 m, Alonso Edward and Nickel Ashmeade in the 200 m, David Verburg and Tony McQuay in the 400 m, Winnie Nanyondo in women 800 m, World leader Jonathan Kitlit of Kenya in the men 800 m, Nixon Chepseba in men 1500 m, Vincent Chepkok and Muktar Edris in the 10 000 m. Ethiopian Olympic winner Meseret Defar has pulled out with a minor injury. Defar had been planning to run the 10 000 m where she was targeting a sub-30 minute clocking. Also out with an injury is Pole Vault Olympic winner Jenn Suhr who was suppose to compete on Friday on a street.
