When I asked Chris O’Hare what he hoped to achieve running the 800 meters at the adidas BOOST Meeting in Herzegenaurach, Germany, he noted, ” Not finish last.” Well, Chris started out at the back of the pack, but moved his way nicely through the crowd (passed 400m in just over 53 seconds), and finished fourth in 1:49.47. With a PB of 1:48.23, the European Indoor and Outdoor bronze medalist at 1,500 meters wants to get his 800m PB down a bit, so he can battle the rivals he has for 1,500 meter medals in Beijing! Chris O’Hare is a member of the B.A.A. Track Club, and coached by Terrance Mahon. The BAA Track Club is a high performance team dedicated to building world class athletes in a long term, thoughtful and ethical fashion. They are sponsored by the BAA and adidas. We wish Chris O’Hare much luck.
