Our friends a the Armory cancelled the meet on Saturday, January 23, and moved it to Sunday, January 24, 2016 for matters of safety when the Big Snow of 2016 blanketed the Five Boroughs. We think that is a good mood.
Saturday’s New Balance Games Postponed Until Sunday
New York, NY (January 22, 2016) – Saturday’s scheduled New Balance Games at The Armory has been postponed until Sunday (January 24) due to the anticipated threat of Winter Storm Jonas.
“Due to the increased strength of the predicted snowstorm we feel it’s in the best interest that all our participants and fans should be safe in their travels,” said Dr. Norbert Sander, President of the Armory Foundation. “We are going to postpone the meet to Sunday.”
Sunday’s meet at the New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and will include top high school and elite athlete invitational events. Please go to www.armorytrack.com for further updates.
