The video from SATV praising Christian is as much about his body of work as about those two crazy long jumps over 18 meters. The only other person to do that in one competition is, yes, Jonathan Edwards.
RunBlogRun has seen Christian Taylor all season, from Doha to Lausanne, then, Monaco. He is phenomenal. His competition with Pedro Pichardo brings out his best, and that is good for both athletes.
Last weekend, Martyn Rooney, a former training partner of Christian’s and European champion told RunBlogRun just how much he admired Christian and how hard of a trainer he is. We hear that alot.
Part of Christian’s success is his relationship with coach Rana Reider. Rana and Christian are the perfect example of a coach-athlete relationship that evolves during the athletes’ career.
Christian Taylor epitomizes what we at RunBlogRun and the Shoe Addicts love about our sport. He makes athletics a better sport because of his involvement.
We are honored to name Christian Taylor our SATV+RBR Athlete of the Month (Male) for July 2015!
And, now, on to Beijing!
Thanks to the Shoe Addicts for providing us with this video!
