LAUSANNE (SUI): Agencies are informing that the court of arbitration for sport CAS said a hearing scheduled for Wednesday in the doping case of the three-times Chicago Marathon winner Liliya Shobukhova has been cancelled. The court could not confirm why an appeal filed by the IAAF to double Shobukhova’s ban to four years would not take place. Reports in Russia suggest the IAAF, the Russian athletics federation and the athlete have reached an out-of-court settlement. Acting President of Russian Federation Vadim Zelichenok said for R-Sport: “They agreed on something, but what is it in detail, I do not know.”
