Using the infamous and effective Lenton method, made famous by iconic Australian author Brian Lenton, Tim Hutchings interviews David Bedford with a pint in front of them both, regarding the top five moments in London Marathon history.
The famous Lenton method is named after Brian Lenton, running geek and author, who would bring a six pack to all of his interviews and would NEVER have questions ready beforehand. His interviews of Brendan Foster, Ron Clarke, Rob De Castella, David Powers and Bill Rodgers are EPIC. Finding his books is a bit tough. Besides myself and former Pope Benedict, not sure who else has copies.
Oh, I have digressed,my apologies.
Please listen and watch as Mr. Bedford speaks of the five top London moments in his mind. I believe he has missed one. There is a colorful account of the only time that Mr. Bedford ran London in 1981 in the 2015 Media Guide.
