Tenorio 11.09 improvement
CUENCA (ECU, Mar 14): Angela Tenorio of Ecuador again improved the South American U23 and junior record and national senior record to excellent 11.09 (+0.8) in the 100 m. She is now 8th best all-time junior. At this South American Grand Prix meet in pole vault Jose Pacho twice improved the national record to 522 and 526 cm. In the men 100 m Diego Palomeque won in 10.35 over 200 m Olympic finalist Alex Quinonez 10.37 and Andy Martinez of Peru 10.43. In 10 000 m walk Cristian Chocho 41:55.50 and Brazilian Erica Sena 47:43.50.
