Diego eyes longer distances, but not, the marathon in 2015, by Chris Chavez for ESPNGo.com
Chris Chavez wrote to us: ” We all got excited when we saw the 60:51 and then the marathon talk started. Well after a day to process things, Estrada was open a little bit more about putting plans on hold for a while. Sees himself doing the 10K.
Interview here with Diego Estrada on his marathon thoughts AFTER talking to coach Vigil. He tops out at about 70 miles per week and gives a little insight into his training. ”

Editor’s note: Diego Estrada is one of our most talented runners in North America. His 60:51 half marathon at the US Half Marathon Champs in Houston is just another example of his talent. RunBlogRun is quite happy to see Diego focus on the 5,000m and 10,000m for some more time. Diego can run under 27 minutes, he is that talented. Give him a few more years of development and watch Diego develop into a very fast marathoner.
Make sure that you follow the writing of Chris Chavez. He is doing some fantastic writing.
