Schippers for 60 m
KARLSRUHE (GER): Double European sprint champion Dafne Schippers will contest the 60m at the IAAF Indoor Permit meeting in Karlsruhe on January 31, inform IAAF. The Dutch multi eventer finished 4th in the event last year, before making the very fruitful decision to run the short sprints during the outdoor campaign. Among her competitors in Karlsruhe will be the defending champion Verena Sailer. Schippers and Sailer both set their 60m PBs on the Gothenburg track that has now been installed in Karlsruhe. World pole vault champion Raphael Holzdeppe has also been confirmed for the meet, while it has also been reported that World 60mH record holder Susanna Kallur will compete.
