At the Chicago Marathon, Amy Hastings surprised a few on the TV screen with her front running, but the truth was, Amy had just returned to form. The form she exhibited when she won the 2012 Olympic Trials for the 10,000 meters. The form she showed this past summer in several road races as she focused on her fall marathon.
In Chicago, on that blustery day, Amy Hastings showed the fitness, but also the passion that her running has missed. She placed fifth, on a challenging day, and tied her personal best!
For putting herself on the map for the 2016 Olympic Trials marathon with her run in Chicago, RunBlogRun is proud to name Amy Hastings our RBR Athlete of the Month for October.
Oh, and a congratulations on last week’s nuptials for Amy Hastings and Alistair Cragg, who are enjoying a few relaxed runs.
Special thanks to the Shoe Addicts, our digital partners, for their development of this video.
