Mark Kiptoo completed a year long odyssey from second place in Frankfurt to first place in the 2014 BMW Frankfurt Marathon! 


Mark Kiptoo had lost contact with the lead pack, or so we thought, around 40 kilometers, and then, went back into lead pack, and took the lead just before 41 kilometers, with cramps and not feeling well.

But, that all changed when Mark Kiptoo won! Big smile and knowledge of a race well run, Mark was interviewed by Andy Edwards, our compatriot from Race News Service! Enjoy the interview!
