NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (Magi 48.77)
SZEKESFEHERVAR (HUN, Aug 3): Last day of Hungarian Championships had Zoltan Kovago winning discus 62.66, Mate Koroknai 50.50 in the 400 m hurdles. Tamas Kazi won after 1500 m also the 800 m in 1:48.50 and Balint Moricz after 400 m also the 200 m in 21.15 (-0.4).
CELJE (SLO, Aug 3): Martina Ratej confirmed top shape at Slovenian Championships with 64.15 javelin win ahead of Croatian World junior medalist Sara Kolak 56.16. Tina Sutej cleared 440 in the pole vault and Sabina Veit sprinted 23.44 (+1.7) in the 200 m. In men hammer Olympic winner 2008 Primoz Kozmus got his season best 77.44 m.
KUOPIO (FIN, Aug 3): Last day of Finnish championships had Antti Ruuskanen as javelin winner 83.70 over Lassi Etelatalo 80.24 and Ari Mannio 80.00. Minna Nikkanen cleared national record 451 in the pole vault. Hanna-Maari Latvala won after 100 m also the 200 m in 23.24 (0.0). Men 200 m winner Eetu Rantala posted 21.08 (-0.1) PB, Oskari Moro got 50.33 PB in the 400 m hurdles and Jussi Viita cleared 226 (equaled PB) to win the high jump over Osku Torro 224.
UMEA (SWE, Aug 3): Final day of Swedish championships had sprint talent Irene Ekelund winning the 200 m in 23.38 (+1.3). Erica Jarder leaped to 665 (+0.4) in the long jump. In the men 200 m Nil de Oliveira posted 20.82 (+0.1) over Tom Kling-Baptiste 20.92. World junior medalist Andreas Almgren won the 800 m in 1:50.24 and Gabriel Wallin with 76.83 topped the javelin as Kim Amb was only 3rd 74.99.
TALLINN (EST, Aug 3): New European lead at 400 m hurdles highlighted the last day of Estonian Championships. Rasmus Magi clocked new national record 48.77. Marek Niit won the 200 m in 20.85 (-0.8) and Tanel Laanmae the javelin 80.02. In the women high jump Eleriin Haas cleared 188 to win.
OSTRAVA (CZE, Aug 3): Best results of second day at Czech Championships was the 54.63 by Denisa Rosolova at 400 m hurdles, Jan Kudlicka cleared 572 in pole vault ahead of Michal Balner 562. Jan Marcell won shot put 20.48 over Tomas Stanek 20.27 and Ladislav Prasil 19.24. Also to note improvements in the 400 m with personal bests for Daniel Nemecek 46.09, Patrik Sorm 46.20 and Jan Tesar 46.43. Lukas Stastny won the 200 m in 20.95 (+1.3) and Michal Broz the 400 m hurdles 50.51. In women high jump Oldriska Maresova cleared 187 with heptathlete Eliska Klucinova second 184 and world junior medalist Michaela Hruba third 180.
ODENSE (DEN, Aug 3): Nick Ekelund-Arenander won the 200 m at Danish Championships with 21.07 (+1.6). Andreas Martinsen clocked 13.81 (+1.0) over the hurdles and Nicolai Hartling 50.94 in the 400 m hurdles. In the same women event Sara Petersen 56.79.
AMSTETTEN (AUT, Aug 3): Beate Schrott clocked during final day of Austrian Championships 13.22 (+0.9) in heats and 13.25 (+0.9) in finals of 100 m hurdles. Jennifer Wenth won the 1500 m in 4:27.07, also tactical win for Andreas Vojta 3:54.61.

KRAGUJEVAC (SRB, Aug 3): At Serbian Team Championships Bulgarian athletes performer well. Tihomir Ivanov cleared 228 personal best in high jump and Andriana Banova 14.32 (+0.1) in triple. From top home athletes Asmir Kolasinac achieved 20.54 in shot put, Emir Bekric 46.83 in the 400 m and Tatjana Jelaca 60.65 in javelin. Tamara Markovic won the 400 m in Zurich standard 53.21.
GLASGOW (GBR, Aug 2): Best 4×400 m splits were achieved in men final by anchormen Chris Brown 44.39 and Matthew Hudson-Smith 44.56. In women final Stephanie McPherson 50.33 and Novlene Williams-Mill 50.6.
SCHIFFLANGE (LUX, Aug 3): At International meet Jamaican sprint wins. Carrie Russell 11.43 (-1.2) and Andrew Fisher 10.30 (+0.9) in the 100 m, Sheldon Mitchell 20.75 (-0.5) in the 200 m. In the memorial 5000 m Kenyan Alex Kibet won with 13.46.15.
SAUDARKROKOR (ISL, Aug 2): Hafdis Sigurdjadottir leaped here to windy 672 (+2.8) in women long jump.
LEIRIA (POR, Aug 3): During second day of throwing meet season bests in discus for Spanish duo Mario Pestano 65.74 and Frank Casanas 65.48 and Dutch Erik Cadee 65.24-
CHULA VISTA (USA, Aug 2): Brittany Borman at another meet at US Olympic center won the javelin this time with 61.13 over Kara Patterson 58.87. Gwen Berry got 70.48 in hammer.
BAR (MNE, Aug 3): At open meet here Stipe Zunic of Croatia achieved 20.07 in shot put.
SARANSK (RUS, Aug 2-3): Daniil Tsyplakov who is qualified for European Championships won at the Summer Spartakiad in the U23 category the high jump with 233 cm, outdoor PB. Anastasiya Bazdyreva clocked 2:02.51 in the 800 m.
PERGINE VALSUGANA (ITA, Aug 3): Enrico Demonte with 20.85 (-1.4) beat Andrew Howe 21.00 at the 200 m during the meet here. Federico Raguni won the 100 m 10.42 (+1.1) and Michele Tricca the 400 m 46.31. The 1500 m specialist Federica Del Buono won the 800 m in 2:01.80 PB over Marta Milani 2:02.73.
SZCECZIN (POL, Aug 3): At men pole vault meet Piotr Lisek won with 560 over Robert Sobera 555, Pawel Wojciechowski 550.
