Fourth Ukraine 81 ahead of Balkan select 67, Japan 48 and China 47. The best result of the day was the new US discus record by Gia Lewis-Smallwood in third round 69.17. Second Melina Robert-Michon 62.86. European champion Eloyse Lesueur won the long jump 679 (+0.8) over Alina Rotaru of Romania 647 (+0.1) and Diamond winner Tianna Bartoletta 635 (+0.7). Fast sprints by Myriam Soumare 11.09 (+0.3, second US Barbara Pierre 11.24), US Francena McCorory 50.62 in the 400 m and Kristi Castlin 12.74 (+1.0) hurdles beating Euro silver winner Cindy Billaud 12.77. Russian Yevgeniya Kolodko topped the shot with season best 19.52 over US Michelle Carter 19.24. Mariya Kuchina won again after Weltklasse the high jump with 192 clearance. Russian Natalya Vlasova posted good 9:34.16 in the steeple and other two distances were tactical affairs with Russian Yelena Korobkina getting the 1500 m 4:18.07 and Ukrainian Olha Lyakhova the 800 m 2:07.30. Best men results were achieved by French stars. Renaud Lavillenie cleared 590 in third to win the pole vault and tried at six meters. Behind him Ilya Mudrov and Xue Chengrui 570. Pascal Martinot-Lagarde posted fast 13.08 (-0.1) over the hurdles clearly over Eurochamp Sergey Shubenkov 13.39. Another French top star Benjamin Compaore won the triple 17.12 (+1.7) and also Mame-Ibra Anne won the 400 m in 46.45. Good US wins for Mike Rodgers in the 100 m 10.14 (+0.9) and Reese Hoffa 20.45 in shot put. Russian Viktor Butenko was the best in discus 62.54. Distances were tactical, the best was steeple as Bulgarian Mitko Tsenov achieved 8:27.40 over US Donn Cabral 8:27.94. Leo Manzano won the 800 m 1:49.87 and European champion Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad very tactical 1500 m in 4:10.32.
