VLASIC AIMS FOR BISLETT
SPLIT (CRO): Double high jump world champion Blanka Vlasic said for Slobodna Dalmacija newspaper she plans to start her summer season at Bislett Games on June 11 in Oslo. She is back in training for the next competitions and as main goals for summer mentioned European Championships in Zurich and IAAF Continental Cup in Morocco.
(Editor’s note: Elite athletes make it look so easy. But, when injury intervenes, the comebacks take time, patience, and more patience. Blanka Vlasic is one of our most entertaining athletes. Her cautious approach to high jumping now will, we hope prolong her career.)
