Richmond, CA (April 2, 2014) – HOKA ONE ONE®, a division of Deckers Outdoor Corporation (NASDAQ : DECK), is pleased to announce that Mark Mastalir has joined its management team as their new Vice President of Marketing.
With his background of more than 20 years of global marketing experience working for world-class brands in the sports, entertainment, and consumer goods industries, Mastalir will develop and implement dynamic and creative marketing strategies that support the success of the HOKA ONE ONE brand.
Mastalir’s career includes over ten years of experience in the running industry, having managed various marketing programs for both Reebok and Nike. During his tenure with Nike, Mastalir was the head of Sports Marketing for the Canadian and Latin American markets.
With a BA and MA from Stanford University, Mastalir was an All-American in Track & Field at Stanford in the 1500 meters in 1991 and also competed in the 1992 OIympic Trials in the 1500 meters. Currently he’s completing the Harvard Business School General Management Program.
“I’ve never seen a running footwear brand that has created so much buzz among consumers and running specialty retailers.
