This was my Larry Moment of the Day. Like a Zen Moment on the Jon Stewart Show, Just like the Larry name. So, I was walking down the Avenue Foch, and within eyesight of the Marathon de Paris finish line, when I spotted volunteers, putting medals on stands to give out after the race.
As the wind picked up, the sounds of the metals clicking, one against the other, provided a sound memory of the wind chimes on my parents patio. The sound was unique, not overpowering, and gave some credence to the weight and stature of the finishing medals.
I thought you might like this audio diary moment.
