Mike Rutt has had a very busy week. Last Friday night, February 7, Mike ran a blazing 1:45.9 for the 800 meters, waking up the middle distance community in the US this winter. The next day, Mike was part of the NY/NJ All Star team that broke the fourteen year old World and American records for the 4 x 800 meters at the 2014 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix meeting.

His first article, on Don Bowden, America's first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW in 1983.
