NAPLES (USA, Jan 19): Kenyan Kiprono Kurgat won the 27th Naples Daily News Half Marathon in 1:04:02. Caroline Rotich equaled women course record in 1:09:58. Informs RRW.

PRAHA (CZE, Jan 21): South American decathlon record holder Carlos Chinin clocked at an open meet 7.99 at 60 m Hurdles, his ever competition at this distance.
ATHENS (GRE, Jan 19): At Agios Kosmas Efthimis Stergioulis clocked 6.71 in the 60 m. In Olympic Stadium (indoor, Jan 18) Antonios Mastoras 224 in high jump (went directly to 231) and Dimitris Patsoukakis 550 in pole vault.
CHEMNITZ (GER, Jan 18): World fifth placer Martin Wierig achieved at regional Winter Throwing champs good 63.80 in discus.
