VLASIC CONFIRMS RETURN
SPLIT (CRO): High jump star Blanka Vlasic confirmed her return to competition for the coming indoor season with the aim to jump in Sopot at World Indoor Championships. After a successful treatments of her achilles injury in Carlow, Ireland, she has return to her usual training schedule. If everything goes well from now on, her come back is planed on 15th of February in Goteborg, following Prague on 25th and world indoor championship in Sopot. “I’m looking forward to compete again, but there is still a lot of hard work to be done. I’m confident and ready for challenges that are ahead of me,” she said per a release. Her father and coach, JoÅ¡ko VlaÅ¡ić, is also very satisfied with current conditions: “Blanka is more motivated than ever and you can really feel it during training sessions”.
