Stephanie Brown Trafton, the 2008 Olympic Trials champion, finished third in the 2008 Olympic Trials. In 2012, she not only won, but busted it open with her last throw of 213-07. Stephanie also set a new AR this past spring. Here, Mark Winitz, one of Cal Track’s long time journalists, writes about one of the Golden States greatest athletes, along with some comments on several of the California athletes who are making the 2012 Trials simply an amazing event! Special thanks to editor Christine Johnson for alerting us to this one!
